Daily Meditation

Oh God,
Let my thoughts dower seeds-fertile and bounteous
Let my soul express a devotion-intense and tenacious

Oh God,
Let my actions reflect a faith-resolute and proven
Let my body sheathe a temple-pure and open

Oh God,
Let my words flow like a prayer-tender and healing
Let my heart be the Heaven’s abode-gracious and forgiving

Aye, nowhere else but in me You dwell
Thence solemnly I vow to be well

Amen.

  1. Such words are desperately needed to be heard in such tumultuous times. They help “ground” the individual and guide them along a path surrounded by “distraction” and “noise.”

  2. *बड़ी चालाक है ये जिंदगी…!*

    *हमें रोज़ नया कल देकर..*
    *हमसे अपना आज़ छीन लेती है…!!*

  3. My dear frien,

Meditation: to go daily beyond the body consciousness and experience what happens at the time of death when the soul withdraws from the extremities, gathering between the focus point (between and behind the eyes), the seat of the soul, where the inner journey begins, starting not from the light (that is astral) but starting in the darkness and go through the inner dimension, from plane to plane to reach Sach Khand, the sphere of pure consciousness – and finally go back the same way – then death has no sting anymore with which it can frighten us – when our real time comes to leave the body.

In the Bible we have: “Those who are pure in their hearts they will see inner light…” And those who can hear, they can hear with their inner ear – the sound of the divine spheres.

Let our heart become so pure that no dirt can influence it anymore.

Thank you very much for your deep words, like a prayer from your heart to God.

Wishing you all what is good for your soul, my dear friend.

        1. Wow! That was one eloquent piece of writing-simple but so meaningful.

          My favorite lines were:
“I can choose to live or wait to die
I can have faith in the Truth or believe the lie”

I commend you for your efforts. Keep it up! X

  5. Hi Sirenita!! I just saw this caption to your photo:
“My soul is an enthralling mystery, delicately concocted with some chaos and a little glee.”
This is wondrously mysterious way to describe yourself. It may answer a question or two, but it gives birth to an endless stream of others. Some mysteries are meant to be solved, while others only become more mysterious when one tries to unravel them. I suspect your mystery is the latter kind. Do you agree?

    Hugs, Richard

  6. Hey slow down!!!! ‘ Aye, nowhere else but in me You dwell’ Well I am quite sure this line has to be a bit stingy sounding!!!! But I can see it seems the individual care God gives each of His children it can be expressed this way. Now on the real side wonderful poem and prayer Urvashi. May this prayer be answered to you first then to all who read this wisdom.
    Denny

    1. Denny, is that what you call it? Haha! God resides in each and every living soul, my dear.

Let me share a sacred syllable in Sanskrit with you-‘OM SO HUM’, the literal translation of which is ‘I am That’. It means identifying oneself with the Universe or Ultimate reality. As we meditate on this, we realise that we are all one, we have all come from one Infinite Source and a part of that Infinite Source is present in all of us. It therefore rests upon us to acknowledge and respect the divinity in our heart.

Thanks for the critical appraisal, mate. I hope I have cleared your misunderstanding.

      Sending positivity to you X

      1. I am that! Are you talking about one infinite source or one infinite God, or something else altogether Urvashi?

What is the means of connection to this infinite source you speak of?

How do you personally connect with this infinite source as you live?

You seem to have connected with the happy engineers and repaired your website! Congratulations on your success!

What makes you feel exuberance deep in your soul?

What do you keep and defend consistently, a part that part of you that would be most difficult to change?

I return to you in appreciation both positive thoughts and prayers Urvashi.

        Until next time, precious one.

        Sincerely yours,
        Denny

  7. Urvashi, why do your reply’s not attach to the original post? Just wondering who’s heart are you controlling?
    Denny

    1. Hi Denny, I’m aware of it. I’ve tried hard to remedy this issue but unfortunately I can’t seem to find a way out. I guess it’s high time that I contact the Happiness Engineers. It’s really annoying because unless someone is browsing via the mobile version of WordPress, all the comments appear jumbled. Arghhh!

      1. I’ve seen another complaint recently about WP working so hard to please the burgeoning portable crowd that it is leaving the laptoppers to lament , not lilt, as bloggers are born to do.

That being said, I’m typing this on an iPad… which is becoming more reliable to post on than it used to be.

  8. I’m really impressed with your writing skills and also with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Anyway keep up the excellent quality writing, it’s rare to see a nice blog like this one today..

    1. Thank you very much Beula. Actually it’s one of the free themes available on WordPress which I customized to my like.

Your support is greatly appreciated. Stay in touch! XO

  9. –>Hey ! I have just published my next Spiritual Blog where I have answered some of most common questions on Meditation ! Hope you find it helpful !!

    # “I have been trying to do meditation but nothing is happening despite my sincere efforts.”

    # “I sit quietly in the lotus posture for long duration still I am not getting the peace of mind.”

    # “I meditate regularly yet I am unable to manage my Anger.”

    # “Will meditation be of any help when practised while living a married life?”

Sound’s familiar ? Is that’s what your case or your queries too look like? Lets find out some answers here :

  10. Such a Lovely poem it is..specially last two lines! how beautifully expressed!

  11. Hello, I just recently read this and found this to be very inspiring. I’ve been working on my own blog and have been trying to enlighten people on the journey of meditation and essential oils to relax the mind, body & soul. If you should have other suggestions for me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance, Beckie

    1. Hi Beckie, thanks for the visit. You are doing a great job on your blog. Today, our poor world is in a shambles owing to execrable governance, misallocation of scarce resources, greed and pandemic corruption. Meditation is our saviour. It is the weapon to fight the evils in our surroundings. I will make sure that I read your posts soon and leave some reviews. All the best!

      Sending you love X

  12. Ta prière est magnifique et ton âme est très belle ! Merci pour ce superbe partage.
    Bon dimanche ! Bisous d’amitié… ❤

  13. Your post, Religion and Politics, seemed out of synch with this devout-sounding one. After reading both, I commented in your Religion and Politics thread on your last couplet in THIS section, thinking that you were implying that God was imaginary. On revisiting after seeing more of your comments, I understand how you would have found my comment confusing. Sorry to have been so obtuse. I am an atheist.

    1. It’s totally fine, no worries. One thing I just do not entertain is people who forcibly and unceremoniously impose their personal stance on certain sensitive matters like religion and sexuality. I believe everyone has the right to choose his/her own way of living, without being subject to society’s baseless judgement. Perhaps, there was a misunderstanding along that line. Otherwise, I very much appreciate your openness to a healthy debate. Thank you!

Have a nice day ahead! X

  14. Thank you for the like. I read some of your blogs because it’s the first time I read and visited your blogs/website. Honestly, I really like the theme/code/motto of your website/blog. Thank you. Thank you.
