Ingenuity

“Raw ingenuity is very often misconstrued as madness by the crowd. Take no shit. Carry on.”

-The Little Mermaid, MMXVI

My soul is an enthralling mystery, delicately concocted with some chaos and a little glee.

        1. Thanks Vinnieh. My blog is simply a platform where I share ideas, connect with like-minded people and get a peek into the amazing lives of my WordPress family. You are most welcome to join in. I’ll check your blog too. Keep in touch X

    1. Indeed. I recall a scene from Hamlet in which Hamlet feigns madness causing Polonius to remark: “Though this be madness, yet there is method in’t.”

Such a wonderful expression to prove that there might be a sensible foundation for what appears to be foolish or strange behaviour.

  1. Many are jealous when we do things that are of any intelligence. It can be hard but we need to ignore them and do our best. Peer pressure sucks and we need to rise above it!! Thanks for sharing this!! Hugs.

  2. Hey! Hope you’re doing well. I’d like to let you know that I’ve nominated you for the 3-Day quote challenge. Please check it out, if you want to do it! Thank you.:)

    1. Albert Einstein said, “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid”.

Ain’t that nothing but the truth? Indeed, as you’ve remarked, we must rise above all. Be a fighter! I love your outlook.👍

  3. Are you perhaps enamored by the character Ursula in “The Little Mermaid”? I was looking up information on the SF writer Ursula Le Guin, and happened on the character Ursula in the movie. Just a curiosity.

    1. No, I’ve never been a fan of cartoons, even as a kid. I chose ‘The Little Mermaid’ because mermaids have an element of mystery around them, which I find very attractive.

      I hope I have appeased your curiosity!🙂

      1. Thank you for your commentary – it is always uplifting. I am new to this blogging, and I find some people who seem stuck in a sad rut – that is not you. That is not me either, though sometimes I’m there emotionally. I got interested in blogging to reach people with my book, but that doesn’t seem to have happened, and I don’t get much commentary on my poetry except from friends that know me. Jacob seems to get a lot more feedback on his poetry.

        1. Hi there, maybe you should try tagging your blog posts so that they attract traffic. And please post regularly and don’t despair. Since you are new, it will take time for your site to get noticed and be loved-slowly but surely. 🙂

I will check your poetry. Wish you all the very best X

  4. Realization of that came instinctively when I was young and I was just the way I was. Now when I’m older, I know it with my mind, but it’s much more difficult to act accordingly. Why does everything have to become more complicated with age?! 🙂

    1. Because as we grow up, in our pursuit to instinctively please everyone else, we tend to abjure our own desires, likes and happiness. This makes things complicated.

Now, the question worth asking is: Who complicates things, in the end?

      It is us.(Food for thought)

  5. Hi, that’s another way of not taking any bull from anyone. Some people will literally walk right over another person and think nothing about it. And sometimes, it’s fine to use profanity because that’s all those ignorant ones understand. Take care now.

        1. No, no one does! Haha!

By the way, I browsed through some of your posts. You seem to be a doting hands-on dad to your lovely daughters. Parenting looks full of adventures and fun on your blog. 🙂

My best wishes to you and to your amazing family! X

          1. Thank you for your kind words LMM. Yes, my young girls are amazing and if you find some of my earlier posts you would see what miracles they are. We are well versed in Disney princesses. Ariel was my oldest’s fav. (Mine is still Rapunzel) You might find your namesake scattered throughout my blog. Come back often!

  6. I’ve been surfing on-line greater than three hours as of late, but I never discovered any fascinating article like yours.
It is lovely value enough for me. Personally, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content material as you did, the web shall be much more useful than ever
    before.

  7. I don’t do this very often, but thank you for your posts!
They are very well written and have some awesome points.
